"Persephone" is a series of poetry illustrations combining my own life experiences with the myth of Persephone from Greek mythology.  Most of Persephone's life is shaped by her traumatic relations with those around her, and that's the main theme explored here, especially how trauma affects its victims after the fact.

Warnings: Descriptions of gore in "Organic Body" (the first image) and a mention of rape in "Knowing."
